London Field School x2 - 2019
LONDON Field School x2 - Mia, Rose & Oscar 2019
On our last full day in London,
We took two trains in the London Underground to get to Camden Markets. By this point in the trip we were tubes experts. Arriving in Camden Town, we walked to the "The Basement Tea House" so everyone knew where to come for our tea reservation a little later in the day - and good thing we did! We walked through narrow corridors amoung shop owners setting up their stalls, down a lift to the basement. In the heart of the markets were shops set up in what used to be horse stables that sold hats, jewellery, vintage clothes, fetish apparel, and of course, tea.
From there we were set free to roam the markets at our own accord. With over 1000 unique vendors in the market there was a plethora of food and knick knacks to pursue, smell, and purchase. Some of the food that was consumed included: donuts, waffles, hand made pasta, milkshakes, pakoras, cereal, fried chicken crepes, among much, much more.

We are all looking forward to show and tell all that was seen or procured from the markets over dinner!
Later, back at the basement tea house, we were all surprised when the food arrived. The sandwiches were bigger then what we thought they would be, and tea came with (very tasty) scones!! The tea place gave that vintage vibe -well it was in the middle of vintages shops- and everyone enjoyed their food and drinks. Personally, experiencing afternoon tea for the first time, I was very impressed. It was just like london fog, but putting it in a small teacup made it 10 times better. Coming together again at 2:30, we set off to London eye.
We left the Camden Markets and arrived at the London Eye, where we waited our turn to ride. The whole group got in a pod along with the some CapU students completing their Masters at the University of Hertfordshire who were able to take the train down to join us, and a small family. Lucky for us, it was a very sunny day so we got to see all of the beautiful views London has to offer right at sunset. We bumped tunes off a Bluetooth speaker and had a mini dance party. It was the best final activity we could have done on this trip, everyone seemed to love the attraction for its gorgeous views, amazing photographs and the excitement of riding one of the biggest Ferris wheels in the world.
Cheers to London 2019
Mia, Rose & Oscar.
